CASABLANCA BY NIGHT

 

“Here’s Looking At You Kid”……. Famous words by Humphrey Bogart, er, I mean Rick from Rick’s Cafe in the famous movie “Casablanca.”  Rick’s Cafe is an iconic restaurant in downtown Casablanca.  It was created to resemble the restaurant in the movie and it really does!  We had the opportunity dine there with friends just after our ship ported in Casablanca on a Friday evening.  What a perfect evening it was!

The restaurant was stunning and once inside it didn’t feel touristy at all.  It was an intimate dinner with friends, fabulous food, wonderful service and of course beautiful music to enhance this experience.

Thanks to Cookie and Sammie, our dear friends, who made the reservations and invited us to attend with them.  This was a definite highlight of our trip.

We had a lot of fun!
