VYING FOR THIS
Fantasy Football Championship Time is here! I mentioned in an earlier post that I enjoy playing Fantasy Football. I’ve been on a family league for at least ten years and also a neighborhood league that Mark started in 2020 as a way to get to know our new neighbors during Covid. Last year I won that neighborhood league - Season League Champion AND Tournament Champion! I went by the name of Tiki Barbie which I thought was pretty cute! My daughter-in-law, Amy, came up with the name playing off of a former NFL player named Tiki Barber - clever! Because of that win, I got a little cocky and decided to move up a level to what our neighborhood refers to as the POWER LEAGUE….. $150 to join the league and a big cash pot for the winner. There are two first prizes - winner of the season and winner of the tournament. Mark put the money in for me so I had nothing to lose, except maybe my pride…..
